V-TEK introduced vision inspection in a manual taping equipment TM-50. Depends on option the optic camera controls mark and in case part orientation inside a pocket of carrier tape. This allows to correct faults and avoid mistakes during manual packing that can cause real problems later while automatic SMD placement. Thanks to available retrofit kit existing machines can be upgraded by users themselves. The stand alone In-Tape Inspection Station I3, that allows to verify packed components through cover tape, is also available.
