On multi-site manual concurrent programmers programming process can be started on each site immediately upon devices insertion independently to the status on other sites. Often the system can completely program devices in the first site by the time the operator has inserted devices to the last site, virtually eliminating idle time.
BPM210 is another innovation from the leader in system programming, BPM Microsystems, setting a new standard for productivity and safety in system programming.
BPM210 is a modification of BPM2900L, where the sockets are not closed/opened directly by the operator using a lever, but by stepper motors activated by closing/opening the device cover. This modification does not reduce the number of necessary operator activities and seems to contribute little. However, replacing the delicate pressing mechanics with an automatic mechanism has ensured the repeatability of pressing forces, eliminated the impact of human force, and thus increased the reliability of the device and extended the life of the stands. The most important change, however, is the ability to simultaneously program up to 8 systems, instead of 4 as in BPM2900L.
The solution used in the BPM210 compared to manual programmers, e.g. BPM2900, in which each slot is opened/closed independently, allows to achieve at least double throughput. Operators are able to insert and remove 8 devices for programming in less than 40 seconds. This, together with the time of opening and closing the sockets (approx. 5 seconds), leads to a maximum limit of throughput of up to 640 devices per hour. During the operation of programming devices, the operator can operate other BPM210 units. The BPWin supervisory software allows to operate up to 11 devices in parallel from one PC.
Key Features
- Electric motors automatically open and close the sockets, saving time, effort and the risk of damage
- Programming starts automatically after closing the protective cover, thus increasing throughput and ensuring safety
- Supports all types of devices thanks to professional BPM support
- Firmware, thanks to the built-in so-called Vector Engine, ensures the highest allowed programming speeds for up to 8 sockets simultaneously
- The most powerful tool with the easiest operation thanks to the user-friendly BPWin supervisory program, supporting up to 11 programmers from one PC
- Quick changeover to another type of devices without using tools
- The set includes: programmer, power supply, power cable, USB cable, diagnostic card, vacuum gripper and certificate of conformity
Safety and Productivity
- Compliance with CE and ESD safety directives
- Elimination of repetitive operations reduces injuries and work fatigue
- Implemented minimum allowable programming times, parallel programming of up to 8 devices gives a potential number of 640 devices to be programmed per hour on a single programmer - and up to 11 can be supervised from a single PC
- Quick changeover to another type of devices minimizes downtime
Universal Device Support and Signal Integrity
- BPM210, with a wide range of adapters available, allows programming of any device, including microcontrollers, NAND flash, NOR flash, and more, including optional UFS functionality
- Active adapters provide unmatched signal integrity and quality, and guarantee the highest possible performance by minimizing the number of cycles needed to program the device
Reliability
- 1-year warranty covering hardware and software
- Diagnostic card included
2900L is an extension of 2900 with Lever Socket Actuator and Universal Pressure plate for closing all sockets in parallel. They improve work and increase efficiency in production process.
2900L is 9th Generation 1-site concurrent up to 4-sockets universal programmer supporting flash devices as: MCU, eMMC, NAND, NOR, Serial Flash can be used as a multi-site production programmer. It’s simply possible to connect up to 11 units to one PC for concurrent programming up to 44 devices. Thanks to implemented Vector Engine Co-Processor® BitBlast, technology, 2900L is the fastest equipment available on the market, achieving an amazing peak operating rate of 100MB/s and programing speed near to the theoretical limits of the silicon design. It’s compatible with existing socket modules from previous generations 7 & 8 of type FVE, FX, FX2/FX4. So existing customers can retain the value of their investment in assets. An additional receptacle socket option, ultimately increases manufacturing up-time and saves socket replacement costs.
