Automated Programming Systems (APS) are high-speed, highly-configurable industrial programmers that allow to program in parallel up to 48 devices with productivity up to 1700 devices per hour. The pick & place head is automatically taking devices from input media (tapes, trays or tubes), positioning them on-the-fly on the nozzle using Laser Alignment system and placing devices in the sockets on several programming sites. After completed programmingprocess (erasing, programming, verification, serialization, …) controlled by PC the components can be marked also on-the-fly with user defined sequence with Laser Marker. At the end, devices are automatically packed to tapes, trays or tubes. The whole process is fully automated and supervising by BPWin™ Device Programming Process Control Software, that also registers all required production statistics.
Configurability and flexibility of BPM programming systems are based on different available peripherals: components input feeders, trays and tubes automatic stackers, tray shuttle, optional laser marker, optional output Tape & Reel packing system and more. Thanks to above, machines can be easily adapted by users to their current requirements. Automated programming systems bring-in an additional advantage – they can repack components from different input media to the most efficient in automated production tapes.
BPM310 is an Automatic Programming System (APS) offering maximum functionalities available from the manufacturer, BPM Microsystems. It is an ultra-fast, fully configurable, universal, automatic 10th generation programmer, based on the 6 newest and fastest 8 socket sites. Thanks to this, in the smallest footprint of equipment, compared to the competition, it can program up to 48 systems in parallel with the efficiency of the XY manipulator up to 1 432 devices per hour. It allows the use of the full spectrum of peripheral instrumentation, such as a single or stack tray feeder, tape feeder, tube feeder, and the "Tape & Reel" automatic packaging machine at the output. It allows laser marking of programmed devices and carrying out their full 3D optical inspection.
BPM310, to achieve maximum efficiency and yield, precisely positions the programmed device on the Pick & Place head nozzle using the CyberOptics Laser Camera optical system located directly on the head. It also uses the award-winning original WhisperTeach™ technology for automatic precise head positioning on the vertical axis.
BPM310 supports chips from the smallest CSP (Chip-Scal-Package) 0.4 x 0.2 mm to the largest QFP, incl. systems such as: MCU, UFS, eMMC, NOR, NAND, PLD. It is based on the original BPM technology Vector Engine Co-Processor® BitBlast. Vector Engine BitBlast provides maximum programming speed, incl. managed NAND memories with eMMC and UFS interfaces. The 10th generation allows the maximum speed of 25MB/s for loading programming data to all "sites" concurently. For UFS 2.1 memory, an optional adapter provides sequential data reads up to 440MB/s and writes up to 201MB/s. This results in unrivaled performance.
BPM310 allows the use of socket modules and cards of the FX, FX2/FX4, FVE types of the previous 7, 8 and 9 generations. This reduces, existing users of BPM devices, the necessary expenses for the purchase of dedicated modules for the new machine. The option of a receptacle connector between the printed circuit board and the replaceable socket, which has been applied and proven by BPM for years, extends the life of socket modules and cards, giving higher yields and reducing the costs of consumable materials – costs per device.
BPM310 is supervised by known from previous generations of APS, continuously developed BPWin software.
BPM310 for mass production guarantees 3xE:

3901 is the performance optimized Automated Programming System (APS) based on 4910 machine and offered at the reasonable price level. It’s ultra-fast, highly-configurable, universal, 9th generation APS. It allows to program in parallel up to 16 devices with a speed up to 1088 devices per hour. It supports full spectrum of peripheral instrumentation. For the high quality and yield, it combines on-fly vision alignment of the programable devices on the nozzle using CyberOptics Laser Camera placed on the Pick & Place head and precise vertical positioning with the BPM’s original, award-winning WhisperTeach™ technology.
3901 supports devices such as: MCU, NOR, NAND, eMMC, PLD. It’s powered by BPM’s Vector Engine Co-Processor® BitBlast technology. Vector Engine BitBlast provides an incredible boost to programming speeds especially for managed NAND devices that utilize the eMMC interface, which drastically increases your overall throughput. 9th Generation is compatible with existing socket modules from previous generations 7 & 8 of type FVE, FX, FX2/FX4. So existing customers can retain the value of their investment in assets. An additional receptacle socket option, ultimately increases manufacturing up-time and saves socket replacement costs.
3928 is the performance optimized Automated Programming System (APS) based on 3910 machine and offered at the reasonable price level. It’s ultra-fast, highly-configurable, universal, 9th generation APS. It allows to program in parallel up to 28 devices with a speed up to 1432 devices per hour. Optionally it can be equipped with 3D inspection system.
